The Invention Lab (CEO Jinyoung Kim), an early investment institution and TIPS operator, said it has successfully executed its initial investment in Bueno Company and ELLECT. The investment was made through Digital Innovation 2030 Private Investment Association No. 4, an early start-up fund formed to pass on talent and experience to early start-ups and create practical results, with executives of Samsung Group vice-presidential level or higher, retired executives from large companies, university professors, and system semiconductor listed owner management participating as investors, including Jeon Kwang-soo, who served as president of Samsung Electronics and Samsung SDS.
The investment was made to promote the growth of startups that lead to digital transformation of traditional industries in need of innovation based on innovative technologies such as AI, and the technical capabilities and growth potential of each startup were noted.
Galloping is a startup that leads the digital transformation of the soccer training market and provides quantitative training data to users through a smart training zone that minimizes time and space constraints. This increases the efficiency of the training process, presents customized coaching solutions, and leads the automation of sports training.
Bueno Company operates Groquette, Korea's first mart specialized app that digitizes rewards-based neighborhood mart promotional flyers, and is growing into a platform that connects consumers and small business owners by integrating discount information from nationwide marts. Through this, the digital transformation of the retail sector is accelerating.
ELLECT is a leading ESG company that is developing electric excavator software and platform solutions in response to global carbon neutrality policies and internal combustion engine regulations. It produces wired/wireless electric excavators and is leading a significant change in the excavator market.
Jinyoung Kim, CEO of The Invention Lab, said, "The Digital Innovation 2030 Personal Investment Association is an optimized fund for ultra-gap startups that want to grow based on advice from mentors who have more than 30 years of experience and experience with initial investment."
In line with this, since the investment execution, Bueno Company has been receiving advice on service UX advancement, Elect is receiving overseas expansion and legal review, and Galloping is receiving advice on business expansion strategies.
